At Manoir de Longeveau, our estate offers an authentic countryside escape, thoughtfully designed for families seeking both relaxation and meaningful connection. Days unfold effortlessly, with a range of family-friendly facilities ensuring guests of all ages feel at ease. Mornings can begin with coffee from the clubhouse while children make friends in the indoor playroom, before heading outdoors to enjoy enclosed gardens, a generous sandpit, and spacious play areas with climbing frames, swings, and raised playhouses. Early risers can even collect fresh eggs from the hens, adding a simple, memorable touch to the experience.
For those seeking a more active pace, the estate offers something for everyone. From beach volleyball and tennis under open skies to the peaceful rhythm of golf at Golf d'Aubeterre, each activity is designed to bring people together. Heated swimming pools provide space to relax and unwind, while boules, table tennis, and dedicated yoga and workout areas offer moments of both fun and balance. Safety and comfort are paramount, with enclosed pool areas, heated water for extended seasonal use, and a separate paddling pool ideal for younger guests.
A highlight of the week is the much-loved Monday evening barbecue during the summer months. As the sun sets, guests gather to enjoy delicious food and relaxed conversation, followed by a lively and inclusive game of football on the tennis courts—a cherished tradition that brings together children and parents alike in a spirit of fun and friendly competition.
Beyond the estate, the surrounding region offers a wealth of discovery. Just a short drive away, Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, one of France’s most beautiful villages, enchants visitors with its riverside setting, charming cafés, and remarkable monolithic church. The nearby town of Ribérac provides a livelier atmosphere, particularly on market days, where you can experience the flavours and traditions of the region through fresh local produce and artisan specialities.
The wider countryside invites exploration, from scenic walking and cycling routes to canoeing along the gentle Dronne Valley. Cultural highlights, historic châteaux, and local vineyards offer opportunities for relaxed days out, blending heritage with the pleasures of food and wine.
Together, these experiences perfectly complement the tranquillity of Longeveau itself, offering a refined balance of activity and relaxation. Here, time slows, families reconnect, and lasting memories are made in a setting of understated elegance and natural beauty.
