Le Mazet is a charming 4-star house and with its honey-coloured stone walls on which jasmine grows rampantly, typical of the Dordogne. From your private garden and the sitting room, you have breathtaking views of the 12th-century church across the valley.

Reached via the garden, partially worn away ancient sandstone steps lead to the living room with open kitchen (36m2) on the upper floor. The sunny room has a high beamed ceiling, windows in all four walls and a large fireplace with wood-burning stove. Everything is provided for optimal relaxation: a lovely sofa, dining table and chairs, kitchen, satellite TV, a Blu Ray player, wireless speaker and free Wi-Fi. A staircase leads to the lower bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed, make-up table and wardrobe. The spacious bathroom has a large walk-in shower, sink, toilet and towel radiator.
Le Mazet is located in the village of Sainte Croix, right between the fortified medieval bastide towns of Monpazier and Beaumont du Périgord and only a 40-minute drive from Bergerac airport. There is plenty to do in the area. There are plenty of markets selling local produce or antiques. The region is famous for its castles, churches and prehistoric caves. Restaurants serve the region's specialities, such as truffles, duck and foie gras, among others. As soon as you step out the door, there are beautiful walks to be made and a well-known cycling route to follow; canoeing on the Dordogne, golfing or horse riding are just a few of the possibilities. There is an allocated parking space with a fast charging point (22kW; type 2 connector) for electric vehicles. You will receive a pass from us to activate the charger and record your consumption, so you will receive an itemised bill at the end of your stay.
